I don’t know if one year seems fast or slow. It definitely doesn’t feel like I’ve been blogging for a year, but given that Anything For The Crown was technically born like three years ago, a year feels short. Regardless, a lot has changed over this past year and I have to admit that a lot of the positives that happened kind of stemmed from this blog.

Launching and managing Anything For The Crown helped me explore new paths I never thought of before. For one, I actually put my camera to use and started shooting/editing more for every blog post. I made an effort to travel to and explore more places, even if it was just down the street. I began to think more seriously about my personal branding and the skill sets I have to offer outside of my regular day job. And most importantly, I feel like I’m making most of my life right now.
At times I’m overwhelmed with the amount on my plate. Work has been absorbing a lot of my energy because I'm managing bigger projects and in the midst of launching a brand new program. Also, Roll Global officially announced it's rebranding today, to The Wonderful Company. It's an exciting time :) Outside of work I split my time among Social Media Club LA, Anything For The Crown (and photography in general), triathlon training and other side projects in the works— it can be a lot. But when I was at the peak of my stress, I came across some quotes that really put me at ease for some reason..
"Always remember that the future comes one day at a time."
"It's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years."
So cheesy, I know. Gag. But I guess the point of this post is to let myself admire how far I’ve come and embrace what has yet to happen. I have no doubt that everyone else has these moments in their lives so I hope these words can help soothe you too when you need it most. So here’s to one year of doing anything for the crown and here's to many more to come :)
